An understanding has been reached at Garowe Talks between the Somalia’s Federal Government led by the Federal President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo, and heads of federal member states, according to reliable sources close to the talks.

Galmudugh issue, resources-sharing (oil and gas regulations), Electoral Laws and framework for cooperation between Federal Government and federal member states, are among those items in the agenda that have just made significant movement forward.

Puntland State President, Said Abdullahi Deni, is hosting the talks.

The meeting is taking place Puntland Presidency in closed environment, open only to the Federal President and Prime Minister and each Head of a federal state plus one aide.
