SAUDI STUDENTS AND HOSPITAL PATIENTS PAY THE PRICE

Pulling out thousands of Saudi students from their class-rooms in major Canadian universities and painfully dragging patients from hospital beds is far from being morally powerful. Saudi officials are advised to address the plight and interests of their own countrymen and countrywomen instead of exercising power play with Canada, a country long known to the Saudis to be a leading nation for the fight for human rights.

Mind you, it is only Saudis to lose here despite making diplomatic drama.

In this context, the fledgling Government of Somalia was ill-advised to take the side of Saudi Arabia in this diplomatic spat. Tens of thousands of Canadian-Somali citizens inside Somalia and outside are outraged by this rushed-up decision of the current Somali government.
